Bismillah
This is a blog in which I present to you different resources I come accross and use in my quest for sacred knowledge.
Sacred Knowledge is the Door to following the Noble Messenger Muhammd (May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, his folk and companions).
The Messenger of Allah (May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, his folk and companions) was the perfect human being and the perfect embodiment of how we should live our lives in preperation for the ternal life.
“Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind); If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. Allah is Forgiving, the Merciful. (3 : 31)”
The Realisation and Love of Allah are the goals of sacred knowledge. However the value of studying the religious sciences is raised by the quality of the intention.
The Messenger, upon him be peace, said, Actions are but by intentions and everyone will be rewarded according to what they intend.’ (Reported by al-Bukhari and al-Muslim)
For this reason, the 12th Islamic century scholar Imam al-Haddâd encouraged his students to read the following intention:
“All praise to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and salutations and greetings upon our master Muhammad and upon his family and companions.
I intend to study and teach, take and give a reminder, take and give benefit, take and give advantage, to encourage the holding fast to the book of Allah and the way of his messenger, and calling to guidance and directing towards good hoping for the countenance of Allah and His pleasure, proximity and reward, transcendent is He.”
